Why is the campaign named ‘Search for Venus’?
In Roman mythology, Venus was the goddess of love. She was a natural beauty, strong and devoted. As one of the earliest representations of the goddess, the Venus of Willendorf symbolizes the glorification of femininity - I know, we wish we were her and we are hoping that you actually are… A modern Venus who truly exudes the goddess’ virtues, a woman with brains, natural curves, positivity and a general lust for life, that’s what we are looking for!
Can you tell me a bit more about your client?
Well, we don’t want to kiss and tell… Just kidding, we totally would! We are dying to tell you more, but we
can’t… We simply have to bite our tongues. We can however let you know that our client is a handsome, kind and easy-going man in his early 30’s with strong family values. He takes great pride in his thriving career and in his free time he loves to explore his creative skills and go out with friends.
What happens at these intake events?
The intake interview is the first step of a selection procedure that consists of multiple stages. Our team will be there to interview you and take a few snap shots (which will help us remember you more easily afterwards). Rest assured, we will safeguard your information at all times and will treat it with the highest confidentiality.
What happens after the events?
Over the next four weeks we will go through the applications of all potential Venuses. We will make a first selection and present this shortlist (picture, first name, short bio) to the client. Whether you are selected for the next round or not, you will hear from us. If you are selected, we will go on to conduct a detailed interview. At this stage you will also be asked to fill out a questionnaire and sign a contract ensuring your privacy at all times. We want to stress that we treat you with the same respect and assistance as we do our client.
Based on these in-depth interviews, we present a short list to the client. At that stage, if our client and you both agree to meet each other, personal details will be exchanged, and a first date will be arranged. If there is more than one Venus selected, you will be introduced one at a time. After that, you can begin dating regularly, which will hopefully be followed by next steps towards a long-lasting relationship!
How will my personal information be treated?
Ivy International takes privacy very seriously. All your personal details will remain strictly confidential during the entire procedure – even for the client. He will only receive your contact details at the very final selection, and also only if you agree to meet him.
Why does he want a woman from these specific countries?
This is quite a funny story actually… Originally, we envisaged the search to only be conducted in Ukraine, Czech Republic and Romania because the client has a deep appreciation for the rich eastern European culture, history, and its warm people – can you blame him?! But the multicultural and down-to-earth approach of the Ivy collaborators inspired him to add Belgium to his list (yes, we have to admit that we are kind of flattered *blushing*).
Will the “winner” be publicly announced?
Ivy International roots for everybody that asks for a little help and we are proud to aid our client in his quest for true love. But we wouldn’t use the word ‘winner’ when it comes to the final Venus because this quest is not just a game or a competition. It’s a campaign to find someone’s true love!
We do understand your curiosity but unfortunately, we will never disclose the identity of the client or the final Venus. Ivy International’s clients count on them to act discretely and with the highest level of professionalism.
How important are looks?
If this was only about looks, our client wouldn’t really need us. We all know that a perfect match goes far beyond appearances, but let’s not kid ourselves: physical appearance is indeed one of the initial filters. Attraction and a spark are essential for a successful relationship. Inga, our CEO, tried a relationship without physical attraction and guess what, it didn’t work. Although attraction can develop over time, that ‘je-ne-sais-quoi’ has to be there from the beginning. So why waste precious time if we already know what our client is looking for? Some women prefer men with hair and others have a thing for blondes. Everybody has preferences – we don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.
Who is behind Ivy International?
After her divorce founder and CEO Inga Verbeeck was struggling to find love so she enlisted the help of a
matchmaking agency. In 2015, she decided to start a more professional service than what is conventionally offered and that’s how Ivy was born! Our Ivy International team now consists of Inga Verbeeck and 15 matchmakers and brand ambassadors who are based all over the world. Did you know that all our foreign Belgian-based coworkers moved here for love? Cute, right?
Why would a man like him even need Ivy International?
We get this question a lot and the answer is quite simple: our clients realize that we can help them find a suitable partner faster and increase the chances for long-lasting success of the relationship. This specific man is actually in a very difficult position to meet the kind of woman with whom he wants to spend his life. With this search, he is swimming against the cultural current of arranged marriages. Pretty brave, if you ask us!
How does Ivy International know who to match their client with?
Good question! It’s a pretty extensive procedure. First of all, it’s important for Ivy to really get to know each client on a deep and personal level. During a very lengthy conversation we talk about the client’s professional and personal history, hobbies, interests and preferences. What makes you smile? What moves you? What attracts you, and so on? I know, it sounds like a quite intense first date, right? But these questions are necessary to complete the client’s profile and define what the client is actually looking for in a partner. After that, Ivy International gets on with the pursuit for the perfect match!Back to Search for venus
